Custom Application, Database, & Report Design
Your business has specific software needs that most likely won’t be met with off-the-shelf software. Even advanced out-of-the-box applications require customization. At some point you may require application development for your unique business challenges. Sometimes it will be minor customization or enhancements to an application, report, or database. But your needs may require a major front-end application to be developed.
Over 25 years of experience analyzing business procedures and processes has given me the ability to determine what level of customization may be required to meet your needs, as well as how to go about designing the databases, screens, application procedures, and reports you’re looking for. Although I no longer provide direct customization of applications, (much like an architect) I will provide you with the necessary designs, screen layout, framework, and process diagramming for your software application developer to follow (and provide a formal RFP if you wish). This may also include integrating existing and new systems, parallel operations and testing, and improved reporting. You wouldn't think of building a home or commercial building without analyzing your needs and developing proper plans, would you? Business software is no different, and the analysis and design process is no less crucial.
