We all have something we really enjoy doing. For me it is consulting (helping people), software application development, and spreadsheet development. Although I no longer develop (code/program) applications for clients, I can’t seem to get away from spreadsheet development (which occasionally includes some Visual Basic coding). I guess you could say it’s been a part of me since the days of VisiCalc and Lotus 123 (for those old enough to remember these applications when they were initially available on floppy diskettes – the 5 ¼” variety).
So, on occasion I offer Excel spreadsheet design and development for a few select projects that really interest me. These are typically calculation–complex spreadsheets that are used by you directly (an executive or business owner), rather than those designed for fancy data input and reporting (since I prefer to use software application development for end-user applications).
